Moldorm
Hard first boss in this game. He’ll randomly move around the room in order to strike you and push you down the hole. Don’t fall for it (pun not intended) and strike his weak point, the tail. This will cause him to move around super fast, so don’t try and get hurt. A few hits will cause him to fall and die, leaving behind a Heart Container.

Genie
The second boss of the game. His bottle is a protective casing for him. Strike it with your sword when it bounces around and pick it up with the Power Bracelets and toss it to bring out Genie. He’ll strike you with fireballs so watch out. After tossing his bottle a few times, it’ll break and he”l get rougher. Watch out for his doppleganger and striker the real one a few times with your sword to strike him down.

Slime Eye
Run into the wall with you pegasus Boots in order to reveal him. Then when he falls, ram in between both eyes with your Pegasus Boots and Sword until he is split into two different eyes. Strike and kill both eyes to defeat this Nightmare. If you didn’t ram into the wall right away, several tiny Gels to harm you.
Angler Fish
A real easy boss. His weakness is the antenna on his head. Strike it a good few tries and he’ll fall down easily. Watch out for the smaller Angler Fish and the larger one’s ramming attacks and you should be able to defeat him rather easily.

Slime Eel
This boss is pretty hard. At first he’ll break the center of the room, where his tail comes out and spins around during the battle. The head will then break two holes on the north wall and the south wall. Pull out his body with the Hookshot and then slash at his exposed middle (a heart shape part of his body is his weakness). However there is a fake one that can come out and pulling it out can cause it to explode! A few hits will be all it takes for him to fall.

Facade
An easy boss as he does nothing but stand in the center of the room. Place a bomb in his face and let it explode in order to deal damage. Flying tiles will strike you once the battle starts, so use the shield in order to protect yourself. Watch out as the floor can some times open random holes which you’ll fall into. A few bombs will be all it takes to defeat Facade.

Evil Eagle
This boss can only be hurt if you hit it’s beak with an item like the sword (when it swoops close), Arrows, or the Hookshot. Once hit, it’ll fly up off screen and strike somewhere random again. If it comes down from the top screen and starts to flip it’s wings, put up your shield and press towards the Eagle as strong gusts will cause you to fall off the side of the tower. It’s attacks are ramming you, blowing you off the side of the tower, or attacking with feathers.

Hothead
Stay where you enter and button smash the Magic Rod in order to damage you. Watch out for the lava that comes out of when he lands or comes out, as it can deal massive damage. After you kill his first form, he’ll crack and reveal a more disgusting looking version of himself. A few hits from the Magic Rod will be enough to finis him.

Final Nightmare
Blob: Use the Magic Powder in order to damage him. It’s a really simple form.
Wizard: You can either reflect his attacks back at himself, or simply just go beside him when he fires his attack. Another few hits and he’ll transform again.
Shadow of Moldorm: You have to constantly hit its tail and not let it slow down as it would recover from your hits. After a few good hits, he’ll fall again and transform into a new form.
Shadow of Ganon: This seems to be a nightmare of Link’s. This form is easily. All you need to do is ram into it with the Pegasus Boots and Sword in order to damage it while avoiding all it’s attacks as well. Or you can also Spin Attack into him.
Shadow of Lanmola: This form will dash around and try to ram into you to deal damage. One strike with the Magic Rod will kill him.
Dethl (Deathl): Jump over it’s rotating arms to avoid any damage. Two dozen arrows to the eye will kill him, but if you have the Boomerang, a single blow to his eye will kill him.
Congrats, you beat Link’s Awakening! Or if you played the DX version, you still have a few more extra bosses to beat.

Giant Hardhat Beetle
This boss is a range of different colors… which is predictable due to it being in a color version of Link’s Awakening and in the Color Dungeon. It’s pretty simple. All you have to do is strike it till it turns red and once it does, you have to hit it at least ten to fifteen more times before it falls. Avoid all the attacks it throws at you, keep slashing until it is defeated. Your reward isn’t a Heart Container, but rather a red tunic (which increases your attack power) or a blue tunic (which raises your defense and you only take half damage). This boss can be fought at any time in the game.
