Hidden Menu

It is possible to access the game’s menu in game. To do this, you need two controllers. With the first controller, pause the game with the START button. On the second controller, press UP and A to bring up the menu.

Red Water Glitch

Instead of buying a new Red Water when you’ve used it already, simply buy another Blue Water. This will give you an extra Red Water for much less.

Second Quest

Once you’ve beaten the game, you can choose to start over. This time, however, the game is harder. You can also start the second quest immediately by naming yourself ZELDA when creating a new file.

Extra Key

When you enter the first dungeon, there is a locked door. Exit and go back in to discover that the door has mysteriously unlocked itself. Because of this, you are given an extra key to use just about anywhere.
