If any of the below Terms of Service is broken by a user on both the main site (that includes guests) and forum members, wiki authors, etc., firm legal action will be taken and your IP will be reported to your ISP and possibly, you will lose your internet services. We do NOT kid around. If you break our terms of service as well as well as your own ISPs Terms of Services, then it can be possible you will lose your internet service or be sentenced to court. - You are allowed to download any music, fonts, etc.
- You are not allowed to download or hot link to images and claim them as your own work on your site unless stated on the page you downloaded them from.
- You are not allowed to post any spam links on either the main site or on the forums leading to products or malware. No linking to shock sites as well

Although the administrators and moderators of Zelda Temple Forums will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages. (developers of vBulletin) will be held responsible for the content of any message.

By reading and accepting the following, you have agreed that you will not breaking any of the following important rules on Zelda Temple Forums. Doing so will be breaking not only the Terms of Service on Zelda Temple Forums and the main site, but as well breaking the Terms of Service of your own ISP, resulting in punishable crimes that could be taken to court or removing your internet service without warning.

Message Rules

As a member of Zelda Temple Forums, you are free to speak your mind about any acceptable subject. However, hateful messages (such as racist, sexist, etc.), flaming (messages intended to attack a user), vulgar (constant swearing where not needed and also sexual jokes) and other negative message are not allowed. Some of these messages could be taken as cyber bullying and can be reported to your ISP for breaking not only our Terms of Service, but also their own.

Account Rules

As a member of Zelda Temple Forums, you are free to make an account on the forums to post and reply to the topics posted on the site. However, making an account to bypass a ban or to just simply to troll (joining the site without any reason but to simply attack the forums or another user) is against Zelda Temple Forums policies as well as your ISP’s Terms of Service. Bypassing a ban is considered by many ISPs as hacking and can not only just remove your internet services by your ISP but as well send you to court. As well, trolling is considered cyber bullying which also will be reported to your ISP if we catch you doing it.

The following are the most up to date of the Forums Rules which follow this terms of service as well:

1. Posting rules and regulations
   1. Spamming:
      
      S – Stupid
      
      P – Pointless
      
      A – Annoying
      
      M – Messages

      Spamming is making off topic posts that do not contribute to the topic on hand or are short posts made of one to three posts that have no real contribution to the topic. "Lol", "I LIEK ZELDA", or other short spammy posts (under five words) will be infracted first, then the post deleted. Topic derailment will cause you to get a verbal warn, then an infraction, then possibly if you continue, a ban for a day, two days, three days, eventually until you get a month ban… or a possible permanent ban. We don’t mind: "LOL" "IMO" "IDK" or others in a post that contributes such as: "IDK how to get passed this dungeon. Can someone help me?" or "LOL. Dude you just got owned." but just a simple "Lol." then post will get you a warn.

   2. Flaming:
      
      Flaming is the derogatory way of insulting someone either by hateful messages or by swearing, name calling, etc. We will not handle this. This is not preschool, elementary, or even the low end of Middle and High School. You are expected to treat one another with respect and any flaming between members will be stopped. Possibly, depending on the severity, both parties (people) will be possibly banned or warned in order to keep the peace on the forums, but that will be decided by the staff (that means you will possibly be banned for a few days for the staff to decide).

      Flaming includes but is not limited to: racial comments, religious comments (even in the form of a joke), sexist remarks, and other forms of bullying. Depending on the severity of the comment (ex. if it was racist) it wouldn’t be surprising if a member got a day ban or even a month/permanent ban from the forums.

   3. Trolling:
      
      Following flaming, trolling is the act of returning to the forum under another IP, Name, and email in order to once again continue an attack on someone on the forums. Doing so will cause the administration of Zelda Temple to lay down the harshest punishment on the forums: Reporting any and all IPs you have used to your ISP which will result in your losing your internet access from that company. Depending on where you live, this can be a punishable crime falling under harassment, stalking, and other reasons filed under your ISP’s Terms of Service.
   4. Drama:
      
      Any sort of drama will be eliminated and your account will be banned. We don’t care if it’s a visitor message, personal message, a post, topic, etc. ALL FORMS OF DRAMA WILL BE ELIMINATED. We don’t care about fighting on another forum, on IM, or some other personal issue. We don’t care about who is involved. If you start drama, talking crap about other users, etc. etc. we will ban you. Possibly we will also report your ISP for harassment of an individual or stalking someone.
   5. Swearing:
      
      As of now, swearing is allowed, but censored throughout the entire forum for the sake of the younger children who join. You may swear occassionally for something, but constant swearing (aside from the Steam Topic) will cause you to get a warn and a possible ban. We do not allow swear words against other users, and the will fall under the "Flaming" rule we have placed above. That means this rule’s punishment also falls under the "Flaming" rule so depending on the severity of your post, we will ban you for a set amount of time or possibly permanently.
   6. Sexual Jokes:
      
      We do not tolerate a lot of sexual jokes and depending on the severity we may ban you with no warning if the joke we deem as disgusting is too bad for minors. We allow the occasional "that’s what she said" or some other sense of sexual innuendo, but saying something that goes into full detail about "doing someone" will be removed, your account banned, and possibly reporting your ISP about the nature of your post. Depending on where you live, that can be a punishable crime.
   7. Religious Discussion:
      
      We don’t mind the rule too much but if it becomes and issue then we will start putting our feet down.
      
      Due to Zelda Temple being a mixture of different religions, ideas, etc. we have decided to make a rule that prevents discussions of religions on the forums. This is not to say that the staff’s beliefs are over yours, but this is to prevent a religious "flame war" on the forums, and this is ONLY put in place in order to maintain the peace of the forums.
   8. Illegal Discussion:
      
      Any form of illegal discussion as download torrents, roms, emulators, etc. are forbidden. You may TALK about a certain emulator, but you cannot directly link to them, same as torrents, roms, and other illegal and free downloads. Please note, if you do get caught in trouble for downloading any illegal content that Zelda Temple is not responsible for this.
   9. Spelling:
      
      We here at Zelda Temple ask that you maintain decent spelling and grammar when you post on the forums. If your post is hard to read, we may infract you for "breaking" this rule. However, if you have a learning disability, please do PM an admin or super mod and tell them about it, and we will consider about the actions to take against you.
   10. Pictures Rules:
       
       - A Picture must not contain any form of nudity (censored or not), racial, religious, or other forms of hate in it. This will be immediately removed and continued to post it will cause your account to be banned. Returning to do the same thing falls under the "Trolling" rule. This also includes album pictures, which may be reported if the picture shows too much skin (that also means having a bra made only of thin strings that exprose a lot of the breasts or thongs…). Basically if the person in the picture exposes nearly 50% of their own body to be nude, the picture is going now. An exception is a male with a bare chest… However a female exposing her genitals, ass, or breasts will be removed… Same if a male exposes his genitals. Please contribute images that are good for CHILDREN. NO PORN.
       
       - A picture must be around or under 600×600 (width x height) in a post to be posted in image tags. Any image larger than that will be reduced only to a link. There will not be a lot of warns for that, but continuing to do so will result in several infractions until you are banned.
   11. Linking rules:
       
       - Linking to shock sites, porn sites, false advertisements, sites that will download malware to your computer without your knowing will result in a ban from the forums, and depending on the severity of the action, you maybe permanently banned from the forums and possibly the site. As well we may report your IP to your ISP.
       
       - Illegal discussions also falls under this as well. No linking to ROMs, Emus, etc. on the forum.
2. Account Rules
   1. Derogatory Names:
      
      Any names that are about something against the rules or something about closing the site down or insulting someone is not allowed. We will ban your account right away and there is no chance for you to come back.
   2. Signature Size:
      
      Signatures must only be 600×300 (width x height) in size for all images in the signature combined. That means, having one image that is 400×150 and another that is 700×200 is against the rules. However, an image that is 650×100 is allowed. This is only put in place due to the slower internet connections as some people have dialup. An example has been given:

      

   3. Appropriate Signature Images:
      
      ALL signatures MUST follow rule 10 – Picture Rules. Any nudity or censoring is against the rules and you will be punished according to the severity of the image, or may be just asked to remove the image down. Please do follow this. We don’t want to make this an adult forum

   1. Administration and Staff:
      
      Please do respect the staff and administration for our decisions as we are not out to make you look bad, but to make sure the forums are running smoothly and nothing will cause the forums to break down into a fight. If you break a rule, accept it and the punishment, but do not act like a child or a person fighting "the power" or "the man" because that will only continue to lessen the respect you have from members here.
