Musician(s) that you like that everyone else seems to hate

Sorry if this has been created... 'cause I didn't see anything.

So, alright, this is pretty straightforward. I'm sure everyone likes at least one band/singer/whatever that most everyone else in the world hates to some degree. What are yours?

Mine, that I can think of (English only):
* Backstreet Boys -- People still think they're only "bubblegum pop". Blah.
* just about any group in the "bubblegum pop" era really
* Hoobastank
* Suicidal Tendencies

Uh, really anything in country music. I think in 1 1/2 years of going to online websites, I've only found 1 other person who likes it. Same as in school too.

Richard "Rick" Wright. He was the keyboardist for Pink Floyd (present in all albums except The Final Cut).

He released two solo albums; Wet Dream in 1978 and Broken China in 1996. I have Broken China and I like it. Very nice, calm music and vaguely similar to Gilmour-era Pink Floyd. Wet Dream is out of print, though, so I can't find it anywhere. He was also working on a third album, which would be instumental, but died while writing it, so, obviously, it will never be released.

He isn't hated, but hardly anyone knows of his solo work.

*EDIT* - I was able to get mp3 files of Wet Dream yesterday, by converting youtube videos of the album's tracks to audio only files and then burning them to a disc. I wish I could have the actual album, but this is as good as I can get it.

Anway, I really like this one and it's my favorite of the two.

DJF: I didn't know he had solo work, either. I may give him a listen sometime, so I like listening to Pink Floyd on occasion.

I, for one, really enjoy it~
But then again, I really enjoy any kind of music as long as it's not rap XD

^ I grew up with country, and after a while (and after discovering what else was out there in the world), I began to despise it. I can listen to it when necessary, but I avoid it if at all possible.

That's my reasoning, anyway.
