I am pretty excited to see this. It looks awesome. I loved the first movie, and I have it on DVD, and I have watched it a few times. XD

You can see that the action and CGI are going to be just as good, if not better, than the first movie. The plot and screenplay definitely need improvement though.

Yeah, I remember watching the first Transformers a number of times... and I rarely watch movies again and again unless they really appeal to me.

So I'm pretty stoked about this. I'll be honest, though, I'm not looking forward to anything good... that way my expectations won't be crushed if it turns out to be bad. :P (On the contrary, they'll be crushed by how immensely awesome it is.)

I like the first movie. In fact, I watched half of it last night! The CGI is good (as stated earlier in the thread)....I'm looking forward to seeing this. Also, since I watched a short clip in the credits, I already know what this is going to be about.

In the end of movie one, they had the one of the Decepticon(?) Transformers flight out of Earth's orbit, as a black jet.

Another reason I'll like this movie is because it will be by my favorite director/producer: Stephen Spielberg.

HOWEVER, before all the bitching and complaining begins, let me reason with you..
The movie wasn't bad. It was a horrible Transformers movie, but it was a good stand-alone film. No doubt ROTF will fix some of the flaws they had in the first one.

I'm looking forward to this, just to see if its worthy of the name "Transformers".


PS: I feel the same way about the so-called "Dragonball" movie

Ah, I feel you there. I thought it was an epic MOVIE. Whether it did respect to its franchise, on the other hand, I've heard a lot of negatives on.
It's kind of like my thoughts on that GODZILLA (1998) film, by the guys behind Independence Day. It's an O.K. monster movie, but a DAMNDED-horrible Godzilla movie.

Yeah. they're good standalone movies, just not good transformers, godzilla, or alien movies...still awesome though

Hmm... The video doesn't work, but just knowing that a sequel is coming out is good enough for me. =P
I really liked the first movie, and was hoping that they'd make another one. I just hope it doesn't suck like a lot of sequels do.
But whether it looks sucky or not, I'm still definitely going to see it when it comes out.
