Biography: Kowanaki Anzai was born to a poor family. He was blessed with peerless intellect and a body that resisted most illnesses, but unfortunately, his gifts could not aid his parents, who struggled to put food on their table every day. Life in poverty was too much for Anzai to bear, especially when he saw how much his parents suffered. After somehow living for 19 years in the slums of his home city, Anzai's family finally moved away, finding refuge in the town of Telac Heights. With the potential to live a better life there, Anzai and his parents never realized that their presence had invoked a terrible curse upon the entire town...
